Burgess Hill Project:

GRP Roof & Leak Prevention in Burgess Hill

This Burgess Hill project resolved long-term ingress around pipe penetrations and a problematic junction with pitched tiles. We recommended GRP (fibreglass) for a seamless finish and excellent detailing around upstands. After removing failed layers, we replaced degraded decking, introduced a warm roof with PIR insulation, and installed pre-formed GRP trims at edges for accurate drips and upstands.

We upgraded fascias & soffits and installed new guttering to improve drainage. A slimline flat roof light was added above the hallway. We also completed targeted roof repairs: swapping cracked tiles, renewing mastic at a lead chase, and tidying verge mortar on the adjoining elevation.

Quality checks included laminate thickness verification, edge adhesion, and a controlled water test to prove drainage falls. We supplied a written guarantee and a photo report of each stage. The finished re-roof improves energy performance, resists wind-driven rain, and looks smart from every angle.

Material choice matters: we use GRP, EPDM, or felt based on each roof’s structure, exposure, and usage—not a one-size-fits-all approach. If you’re comparing systems for a terrace, dormer, garage or extension, we’ll explain the options clearly and install the right one with tidy, reliable workmanship
