Haywards Heath Project:

EPDM & Rooflight Install in Haywards Heath

This Haywards Heath project combined an EPDM re-roof with a new flat roof light to brighten a home office. We removed the old covering, replaced affected deck sections, and installed a warm roof using PIR boards and a robust vapour control layer. EPDM was chosen for its single-piece capability and clean appearance on this footprint. Perimeter trims and outlet components were matched to maintain a consistent, modern look.

We coordinated with an electrician to route cables for integrated blind controls and ensured the skylight upstand was insulated and air-sealed. Adjacent roofline elements were renewed: new uPVC fascias & soffits, and black half-round guttering to improve flow. We also completed small roof repairs to a nearby dormer, including re-bedding the verge and resealing the lead cheeks.

As experienced roofers, we pay close attention to ventilation, condensation control, and junction details—critical to warm roof performance. We used breathable membranes where appropriate and ensured continuity of insulation at edges to avoid cold bridges. The result is a warmer, brighter room with lower heat loss and a durable, low-maintenance surface.

For clients in Haywards Heath, we offer GRP (fibreglass) for complex detailing, bituminous felt for cost-effective overlays, and EPDM for larger continuous areas. Each system is installed to manufacturer guidelines and supported by a written guarantee. Our survey process is fast and transparent, with photo reports and clear pricing so you know exactly what is being done and why. If you’re considering skylights, warm roofs, or leak-proofing around existing penetrations, we’ll help you choose the right system and complete the work with a tidy, reliable finish.
