Lewes Project:

EPDM Replacement with Warm Roof in Lewes

This Lewes project replaced a perished covering with a warm roof EPDM system tailored to a compact footprint. After removing the old layers, we addressed localised deck damage and introduced PIR insulation with a robust vapour control layer. EPDM was installed in a single sheet, minimising seams and future maintenance. Edges were finished with sleek trims, and a factory-sealed flat roof light brightens the corridor beneath.

We renewed uPVC fascias & soffits, adjusted guttering falls, and tidied junctions with the neighbouring tiled elevation. Minor roof repairs to leadwork and verge mortar were completed to ensure the envelope performs as one. On a small adjoining outbuilding, we used a three-layer felt solution for cost-effectiveness, demonstrating our flexible, building-specific approach.

We tested drainage, checked seam integrity, and delivered a written guarantee with a step-by-step photo report. The homeowner now benefits from improved comfort, lower heat loss, and a smart, low-maintenance finish. For Lewes properties we frequently specify EPDM for continuous areas, GRP for complex detailing, and felt where overlays or budget are key. Whatever the system, installation is to manufacturer standards, with tidy working practices and reliable communication from start to finish.
